Job summary

NOVO Health Services seeks a Maintenance Technician I to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on laundry and boiler room equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, dismantle faulty machines, replace parts, and ensure startup procedures are completed accurately.

Applicants should be able to perform plumbing, carpentry, welding, and electrical tasks as needed, with attention to safety in a lint-filled laundry environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance and repair of mechanical/electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electronic problems quickly and accurately.
• Welding, plumbing, carpentry, or electrical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair, adjust, overhauls, or perform preventive maintenance on laundry or boiler room equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
• Dismantle, replace parts, and adjust feed mechanisms in machinery.
• Conduct startup procedures and maintain logs and work orders.
• Lubricate moving parts and maintain drive systems.
