Job summary

SpaceX in the United States is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician (STARLINK) on 2nd shift to oversee installation and maintenance of heavy equipment such as cranes, compressed air systems, and overhead doors. The role ensures reliable operation of machines and supports production, with preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance and collaboration with third-party contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 5+ years of professional experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, mechanical, fluid, or control systems.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and work instructions.
• Install new production support equipment, ground support equipment, and/or launch support equipment.
• Maintain and install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect and assess functionality of critical facility systems (cranes, elevators, compressed air, and overhead doors).
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns of overhead cranes, overhead doors, and air compressors.
