Job summary

Tate & Lyle is a global ingredients provider with manufacturing sites worldwide. We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical equipment across our Oklahoma site, ensuring minimal disruption to production.

The role requires self-management, punctuality, and flexibility to work various shifts and possibly weekends to support 24/7 operations. Responsibilities include equipment repair, alignment, and calibration using micrometers/calipers, along with hands-on

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent with minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Repair, replacement and installation of equipment including pumps, screw conveyors, rotary valves, motors, conveyors, and its auxiliaries like pipes, flanges, gaskets, mechanical seals, filters.
Align, disassemble and rebuild production equipment such as reciprocating compressors, steam turbines, bearing members, gearboxes and pumps.
Utilization of micrometers and calipers to repair equipment; operation of drill press, hydraulic press, pedestal grinder, mill equipment and lathes.
Work independently or in small groups to install, repair and replace equipment, including pumps, valves, motors, and other process equipment.
Walk/Stand upon a variety of surfaces to transport materials, equipment and tools between work areas.
