Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech for first shift. The role offers $25-$35 per hour based on experience, with opportunities to perform diverse maintenance tasks in a food processing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix electrical issues.
• English literacy and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor water treatment facility performance to ensure compliant operation.
• Maintain refrigeration systems and regulate cold room temperatures with supervision.
• Inspect electrical systems and troubleshoot faults with testing tools.
• Install and start up production machines and plant equipment.
• Resolve maintenance problems with minimal production disruption.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures consistently.
• Perform equipment PMs and keep logs up to date.
• Document maintenance history and required paperwork.
• Track equipment used for maintenance and repairs.
• Adhere to GMP and safety rules of the company.
• May work long hours and weekends as needed.
