Dal-Tile Corp. in Dickson, Tennessee, seeks a night-shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and optimize electrical systems and PLCs in a manufacturing setting.

You will read blueprints, configure PLCs and operator panels, and troubleshoot complex electrical equipment. The role requires 4+ years of industrial maintenance and 2+ years of electrical experience, with PLC training preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical code knowledge.
• Industrial electronics degree preferred.
• 4+ years industrial maintenance, 2+ years electrical; PLC training preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot PLCs using handheld device or laptop.
• Design and redesign PLC programs and software (PLCs, operator panels, etc).
• Install, maintain or repair equipment for generation, distribution or utilization of electrical energy in a manufacturing environment.
• Locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment using blueprints, drawings, layouts or specifications.
• Read and understand procedures in English; test motors and electrical circuits with a voltmeter and ammeter.
• Lead projects and complete them safely and efficiently; drive productivity improvements.

MajorFunctionandScope:

• TroubleshootPLCs(ProgrammableLogicController)usinghandhelddeviceorlaptop.
• Designandredesignprogramandsoftware(PLCs,operatorpanels,etc).
• Formatharddrivesandinstalltothecomputers(ComputerSetup)andPCapplication.
• Installs,maintainsorrepairsequipmentforthegeneration,distributionorutilizationofelectricalenergyinamanufacturingenvironment.
• Locatesanddiagnosistroubleinelectricalsystemsorequipmentworkingfromblueprints,drawings,layoutsorotherspecifications.
• Worksstandardcomputationsrelatedtoloadrequirementsofwiringand/orelectricalequipment.
• KnowledgeofSerialportcommunicationsystems,VFDs(VariableFrequencyDrives)andprocesscontrolinstrumentationdevices(thermocouples, pressureswitches,etc).
• KnowledgeofServomotorsanddriveunits.
• Continuouslyreviewingtheirrespectiveareaforideasandthoughtsthatwilldriveproductivityandreducecostswithintheorganizationandbeabletoprofessionallyspeaktotheirsolutionforimprovement.
• Processimprovement(Planandsubmitprocessimprovementsandexecutetheplan).
• Usesavarietyofelectricianstoolsincludingmeasuringandtestinginstruments.

ExperienceandKnowledgeRequired:

• Highschooldiplomaorequivalentexperience.Knowledgeofelectricalcode.
• Associatedegreeinindustrialelectronicspreferred.
• 4ormoreyearsindustrialmaintenanceexperienceand2yearsindustrialelectricalexperience.FormalPCLtrainingpreferred.
• Basiccomputerknowledge(MicrosoftOffice).
