Dal-Tile Corp. in Tennessee is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician who will perform complex mechanical duties and a variety of electrical trade functions in a manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting PLCs, maintaining electrical equipment, and implementing process improvements.
The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to read and understand technical procedures in English. This role demands attention to detail and safety in a loud working environment.
6:45 PM - 7 AM (2-2-3 Schedule)
Performs complex mechanical duties and a variety of electrical trade functions in the installation, maintenance, repair and/or distribution of electrical energy. Installs, maintains and replaces electronic programmable controllers in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read blueprints. Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and PLC’s. Ability to score 80% or better on the Industrial Maintenance exam. Ability to read and understand procedures in English. Ability to test motors and electrical circuits using a voltmeter and amp meter. In depth knowledge of LGV equipment and operation.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance. The associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures. The noise level is usually loud.
