Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader I to oversee maintenance and repairs across manufacturing, warehouse, and transportation assets, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency. You will lead daily activities and coordinate with teams and contractors to support facility operations.

The role requires a high-level technician background with leadership experience, strong communication skills, and CMMS/MS Office proficiency to drive timely repairs and improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a high-level technician and 3+ years as a foreman.
• Written / verbal communication skills - required.
• MS Office (Excel, Word) and a CMMS system proficiency - preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record - required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the reliability, efficiency and safety of warehouse, transportation, and manufacturing assets.
• Leads daily maintenance and repair activities for industrial facilities.
• Collaborates with customers, engineers and contractors in design/construction of new facilities; helps establish standard specifications.
• Stays current on new technologies and regulatory requirements.
• Develops, schedules and leads assigned Partners; fosters training and development.
