Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Recycling Maintenance Supervisor in Columbus, OH to lead a maintenance team in a multi-shift industrial environment. You will oversee preventative maintenance, repair, and fabrication on conveyors and plant equipment, ensuring safety policies and production goals are met.

The role requires 3–5 years in Welding, Electrical, or Maintenance, plus experience in PLC systems, and the ability to train staff while ensuring OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in Welding, Electrical, or Maintenance.
• Previous Management
• Experience with PLC systems and motor control panels
• Must acquire special equipment certifications including Crane Operations, Man-Lift, and Forklift upon hire

Responsibilities

• Supervise Industrial Maintenance Operations in a safe manner.
• Ensure PPE is utilized and Lock-Out/Tag-Out compliant.
• Provide guidance and training to maintenance technicians.
• Ensure daily work is completed and productivity goals met.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in OSHA standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair duties as assigned.
• Fabrication/repair on conveyors and plant equipment as needed.
