Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a 3rd shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair CNC, pneumatic and hydraulic systems in an industrial setting. The role emphasizes aggressive preventative maintenance and clear communication with supervision and vendors.

Responsibilities include equipment inspection, troubleshooting, and COS participation to improve productivity and reduce waste while adhering to safety standards. Must have a 1-year certificate and 2+ years related experience.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school and minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Experience with CNC, preventative maintenance in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, physical structures, piping and electrical systems in industrial environments.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions; diagnose problems.
• Read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Participate in and support COS initiatives and lean manufacturing projects.
