Job summary
TrafFix Devices, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Training Specialist to lead hands-on development of our maintenance team.
About half the role focuses on mentoring technicians through structured on-the-job training, coaching, and competency evaluations; the other half concentrates on troubleshooting, diagnostics, and supporting automation, robotics, and manufacturing equipment. The role requires strong leadership, programming, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and a commitment
Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent required.
- Experience as technician and with robotics desirable.
- Trainer or teaching experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of automated PLC-based equipment and processes.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and guide maintenance technicians.
- Interpret drawings, manuals, and specifications.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and robots.
- Perform quality checks on new installations or repairs.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Promote safety, teamwork, and effective communication.
