PACCAR is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic at its Renton, Washington plant. The role focuses on reading mechanical drawings, troubleshooting conveyors, ovens, robots and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and performing preventive maintenance.

A strong welding background and team-centered approach are essential for success. The position requires at least 6 years in an industrial maintenance setting, familiarity with water, gas, and air lines, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• One verifiable year of hydraulic and pneumatic training and experience.
• Understand how to maintain paint production equipment, preferred.
• One verifiable year experience installing and maintaining water, gas and air lines.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
• Two years of stick, wire welding and burning experience preferred.
• PC experiences with Outlook, Word and Excel preferred.

Responsabilités

• Read and understand mechanical prints and engineering drawings.
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, ovens, paint robots and any other equipment as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic controlled equipment such as hot water heaters, air leak testers, turnover fixtures, cab tilt fixtures, portable Huck hydraulic units, central Huck system and the cab joining fixture.
• Able to repair and maintain facility building and grounds equipment.
• Proficient at the repair of forklifts and other rolling stock used within the facility.
• Perform preventive maintenance task per PM instructions.
• Willing to work some overtime as needed.
• Proficient welding/burning experience required for repairs/construction.
