Job summary

Arconic is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Building and Construction Team in Springdale, Arkansas. The role requires strong electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills and the ability to service pumps and drive systems.

Qualifications

Enthusiastic about learning equipment and learning failure patterns.

Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
Must be flexible to work any shift, holidays, and weekends as needed.
Overtime is required if deemed necessary by management.
Ability to be certified for Forklift, Crane, Genie, and Scissor Lift

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair of mechanical drive systems such as belts, motors, and chains.
Troubleshoot small electrical circuits and identify problems.
Perform PMs such as oil level checks and mechanical inspections.
Repair mechanical failures in a timely fashion.
General understanding of manufacturing operations (extrusion, water treatment pumps, anodizing and paint operations).
Identify Problems and formulate solutions to fix problems with minimal supervision.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
