Job summary

O'Neal Manufacturing Services is seeking an experienced industrial maintenance technician for second shift in Ambridge, PA. You will review PM schedules, diagnose VFD faults, align gearboxes, fabricate brackets, and perform PLC I/O checks to prevent nuisance trips.

Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining CNC cells and material handling lines, ensuring safety and quality procedures, and documenting work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Hands-on troubleshooting with CNC equipment, processing equipment, material handling systems, presses.
• Welding certification required and oxy-acetylene torch work experience.
• Experience with electrical tests and PLC/VFD troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Champion a strong safety culture and adhere to quality processes.
• Repair, rebuild, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical/electronic wiring and fixtures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems with test equipment.
• Terminate and connect conductors to circuit breakers and transformers.
• Align equipment with laser tools and perform precision checks.
• Fabricate mechanical parts from steel and stainless materials.
• Maintain electrical equipment per local, state, and federal codes.
• Support continuous improvement by following safety and quality procedures.
