Job summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic at our Blue Ash, OH facility to maintain plant equipment, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and general systems with limited supervision.

You will follow safety rules, operate forklifts/highboy, assist with lockout/tagout, and contribute to shop duties while supporting 8-hour shifts, overtime as needed, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, 401k and annual bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years’ experience in industrial mechanics (pumps, mixers, machinery repair), electrical, and basic PLC troubleshooting or technical training.
• Needs a high school diploma or equivalent.
• The employee will have to be able to work safely at elevations up to 50 ft.
• Must be able to work the required 8-hour shifts for this role plus overtime as needed, flexible between 6:00am–7:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Provides maintenance on plant electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other systems, plus general maintenance, with limited supervision.
• Exhibits excellent forklift / highboy skills and must be trained on all lifts used in the plant.
• Follows work instructions and safety rules, including PPE and safety gear.
• Contributes to general housekeeping of the plant area and maintenance shop.
• Practices safety, including lockout/tag out procedures for all responsibilities.
