Job summary

H.B. Fuller, a leader in adhesives, seeks an Industrial Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical plant equipment in our Simpsonville, KY facility.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, read blueprints, and support on-call emergencies while upholding safety standards. The role requires at least a high school diploma, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with hand and power tools; preferred skills include welding and piping/boiler familiarity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and medical exam.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools; mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Welding, fabrication, or piping familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, compressors, piping, boilers, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
• Inspect mechanical systems and implement corrective actions.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineered drawings.
• Assist with equipment fabrication, modifications, and welding tasks.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues.
• Support emergency repairs and on-call maintenance requests.
