Job summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment across our plants. You will perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and work in demanding industrial environments.

This role requires on-call availability, safety adherence, ability to lift 50 lbs, pass a respirator test, and use hand/power tools. We offer a competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and required physical examination.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
• Authorization to work in the country of employment and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, compressors, piping, boilers, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability.
• Inspect mechanical systems and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineered drawings.
• Assist with equipment fabrication, modifications, and welding tasks.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues.
• Support emergency repairs and respond to on-call maintenance requests.
