Job summary

ManpowerGroup is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company in Woodland for a Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic to support plant operations and production teams. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and facility systems with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role requires journeyman-level experience in industrial maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC systems, plus welding and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Specialized training in Electrical and Industrial Machinery Mechanics.
• Journeyman-level experience in industrial maintenance, equipment repair, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC systems.
• Proficiency in welding, building maintenance, and forklift operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, climb ladders, work in varying weather conditions, and provide personal tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery, plant equipment, and facility systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize production downtime.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment while interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Complete work orders, PM documentation, spare parts inventory management, and maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and support plant operations in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
