Job summary

Channell Commercial Corp is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our Rockwall, TX facility. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving equipment in plastics and metals operations, while upholding safety and housekeeping standards.

Key duties include preventative and reactive maintenance on production lines, fault diagnosis, tear-down/assembly, and collaboration with operators to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventative maintenance according to the schedule to minimize equipment downtime and perform reactive maintenance on production lines.
• Use troubleshooting skills to identify and fix equipment improvements.
• Perform machine tear down/repair and assembly as required.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production schedules.
• Start up and shut down all production equipment and systems and conduct inspections.
