Job summary

Wayne Farms in Decatur, Alabama, seeks an industrial maintenance technician to assist with preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and conveying systems at a poultry processing plant.

Responsibilities include identifying root causes, performing repairs (welding, pipefitting), and following NCC Animal Welfare guidelines and all applicable laws. Requires a high school diploma and NOCTI Level 1, with ability to work nights, weekends and extended shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• NOCTI Mechanical/Electrical Level 1 test required.
• Industrial maintenance knowledge a must.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Identify root causes and perform repairs including welding and basic pipefitting.
• Work in compliance with safety and company policies.
• Maintain blueprints and manuals as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
