Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in McDonough, Georgia. This hourly role reports to the Maintenance Leader and focuses on maintaining mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems in the plant.

You will execute preventive maintenance, follow safety procedures, read schematics, and repair equipment while maintaining accurate records and traveling for training as needed.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Combined knowledge of mechanical technology with electrical and electronic circuits.

Responsibilities

• Address process and equipment issues and perform preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Follow safety and housekeeping programs to ensure a safe work environment.
• Use machines, equipment, and measuring instruments for alignment, maintenance, welding, and repair.
• Plan and perform lubrication and maintenance on machinery.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to guide repair.
• Travel for training as needed.
• Maintain records and reports.
• Lock-out tag-out procedures and electrical repairs only on de-energized equipment.
• Complete motor replacement and wiring repairs.
• Maintain regular attendance.
