Job summary

Aegis Manufacturing & Engineering is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and utilities in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, read schematics, and support equipment changes and upgrades while prioritizing safety and efficiency. Team collaboration and on-call responsiveness are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Two or more years of industrial maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Safely install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize reliability and uptime.
• Troubleshoot conveyors, pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes, and VFDs.
• Read blueprints and technical documentation to support repairs and installations.
• Respond to breakdowns and on-call maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Support installations, upgrades, and root cause analysis.
