Job summary

CT Polymers, LLC. is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician in Indiana to keep extrusion lines and other production assets running smoothly. You’ll diagnose issues, plan repairs, and perform preventive maintenance using CMMS work orders.

Ideal candidates are mechanically minded, able to work rotating shifts, and comfortable with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical schematics. Experience in manufacturing and a commitment to safety are valued.

Qualifications

• Industrial or manufacturing mechanical experience (entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply).
• Basic familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Understanding of bearings, belts, chains, and drive systems.
• Exposure to extrusion equipment is a plus, not a requirement.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Electrical know-how is a plus — mechanical ability is the priority.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair industrial production assets: extruders, grinders, shredders, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and related mechanical systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance and close out accurate work orders via the CMMS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently and safely.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and light fabrication.
• Support production with equipment operation, cleaning, and setup.
• Document completed work and communicate clearly across shifts.
