Job description

Job Summary

Work under the direction of a Foreman. The individual must possess a high level of skill in the industrial maintenance, turnaround, construction, or mechanical environment.

Essential Functions

1. Always represent the company with high moral standards while adhering to the company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics".
2. Support the company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values".
3. Assemble and disassemble refinery equipment.
4. Perform duties within a precise standard of accuracy (Quality Control).
5. Work from drawings and blueprints as required.
6. Proficiently operate equipment such as forklifts and manlifts.
7. Perform turnaround duties when required.
8. Work independently after proper direction from a foreman, leading helpers and laborers safely.
9. Select the proper tools and equipment to complete jobs.
10. Work well with supervision.
11. Train and supervise apprentices if required.
12. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of four (4) years of refinery maintenance experience.
2. Good understanding of boilermaker work and basic hand tools.
3. Pass an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Craft proficiency test at or above 70% or complete NCCER certification.
4. Complete company safety, process safety management, and site-specific training.
5. Maintain active status within the drug testing program.
6. Possess a valid TWIC card.
7. Possess a 20-hour high hazard facility training card.
8. Verification of 8,000 craft-related hours or graduated journeyperson status preferred.

The typical hiring range in Washington is $43.00 to $55.00 per hour, with a full range over time of $43.10 to $65.00 per hour.
