Job summary

Case Farms is seeking a maintenance technician to support equipment maintenance in a poultry processing environment. Perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and participate in preventive maintenance to keep production running.

You will interpret manuals and work orders, use hand and power tools, diagnostic meters, and work safely following GMPs and company policies. Candidates should have at least 1 year in manufacturing maintenance and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year maintenance experience in manufacturing; food processing preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations to support equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks during production downtime to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues, determine root causes, and implement effective repairs or part replacements.
• Minimize equipment-related downtime through proactive maintenance.
• Respond promptly to production line calls and perform emergency repairs during hours.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders to complete tasks accurately.
• Assist with general facility maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, and infrastructure repairs.
• Identify and report faulty operations, defective materials, and unusual situations to supervision.
• Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, GMPs, and SOPs.
• Use appropriate tools and diagnostic meters; operate material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
