Freudenberg Group in Indiana is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and diagnostic maintenance on production lines, focusing on electro-mechanical systems and 480V equipment. You will read schematics and OEM manuals to troubleshoot and repair a range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.

You will work on 1st or 2nd shift, document every step, manage spares, and collaborate with operators to minimize downtime while contributing

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience with electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience with 480V electrical systems.
• Ability to read OEM manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, and safety procedures.
• Hands-on knowledge of plant machinery and conveyors.
• PLC operation and basic troubleshooting.

A day in the life
You clock in, scan the preventive maintenance queue, and prep your toolkit. Your morning starts with scheduled PMs to keep lines humming. Mid-shift, production flags an unexpected stop - within minutes, you isolate the fault, verify power on a 480V panel, swap a worn component, and bring the line back. Before the day ends, you document every step, check spares levels, and collaborate with operators on a small improvement that shaves seconds off changeover.

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience with strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting, including 480V systems and below.
• Hands-on knowledge of plant machinery, tools, and industrial equipment; conveyor system experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret OEM manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, and safety procedures.
• Proven skill repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Familiarity with PLC operation, diagnostics, and basic troubleshooting.
• Problem-solving mindset, strong safety focus, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
