Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician- Fayetteville, NC

Provides preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on production equipment, systems and buildings in a manufacturing environment (such as engines, CNC machinery, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, etc.). Essential Job Functions

1. Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
2. Troubleshoots devices, hydraulics, motors to gain access to and remove defective parts.
3. Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
4. Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
5. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
6. Repairs or replaces defective parts.
7. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
8. Lubricates and cleans parts.
9. Starts devices to test their performance.
10. Sets up and operates drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
11. Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
12. Repairs electrical and CNC equipment.
13. Assists in installation and servicing of new equipment.
14. Light construction including framing, painting, minor repair duties.
15. Performs other duties as required by management.

Qualifications and Requirements
Required: Two or more years experience in manufacturing. Proficiency and use of software, equipment, machines, tools, and electronic devices necessary for the job to include: lathe, drill press, grinder, pneumatic tools, production machines, and electronic equipment.

For all Positions: Able to handle physical workload, including lifting a minimum of 40 lbs over shoulder height. Hands-on, detail-oriented, knowledgeable in diagrams, sketches, and operations manuals. Experience with hand tools, computers, and comfortable in a manufacturing environment. Math skills include measuring to 1/16” increments and basic math for layout of equipment and systems. Valid driver's license.
