Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Perform repairs efficiently and accurately according to dealership and factory standards.
  2. Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
  3. Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
  4. Tag and save parts for warranty or customer request.
  5. Inspect vehicles for safety or additional service needs.
  6. Notify management if additional work is needed or repairs cannot be completed timely.
  7. Document all work performed and recommendations.
  8. Road test vehicles as required.
  9. Participate in manufacturer training programs and stay updated on technical bulletins.
  10. Report machinery defects or malfunctions.
  11. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and shop area neatness.
  12. Manage dealership tools, manuals, and equipment responsibly.
  13. Comply with safety and environmental regulations.
  14. Operate tools safely and report safety issues immediately.
  15. Perform job functions with alertness and safety consciousness.

Requirements:

Applicants must have a valid license, a clean driving record, and pass a background check, DOT physical, and functional ability test. Class A or B CDL license is preferred. A high school diploma or vocational/technical training, or relevant experience in medium/heavy diesel maintenance, is preferred.

Salary: $15-$45 per hour
