Job summary

Labor Finders is seeking experienced industrial maintenance professionals with welding, fabrication, and electrical troubleshooting skills for a heavy manufacturing environment. You will perform welding, fabrication, and structural repairs, plus electrical maintenance across high-heat, continuous production processes.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, reading schematics, and documenting all work.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in industrial maintenance welding/fabrication and/or electrical roles.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in heavy industrial, high-heat, or continuous production environments.
Solid understanding of 3-phase power systems and motor controls.
Ability to read/interpret mechanical and electrical schematics/blueprints.
Familiarity with hydraulic systems and safe repair procedures.
Ability to work rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends).
Commitment to safety, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

Welding & fabrication: MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on mild steel and stainless.
Fabrication of tooling and plant components; structural repairs to furnaces.
Hydraulic cylinder, pump, and fitting repair; blueprint reading and field measurements.
Operate torch, plasma cutter, and fabrication equipment; document work performed.
Emergency breakdown response during production; ensure repairs are correct first time.
Industrial electrical maintenance: troubleshoot 24V–480V systems; maintain motor controls, VFDs, relays, and contactors.
Read electrical schematics; perform electrical preventive maintenance; PLC I/O troubleshooting.
Lockout/Tagout compliance and safe electrical work practices; cranes and plant equipment support.
Document all electrical repairs and work performed.
