Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a maintenance technician to install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment and facilities. This role requires working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electronics while adhering to safety standards and OSHA guidelines.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or GED and two years of trade school or equivalent experience, with strong mechanical skills and the ability to interpret precision measurements.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED; two years trade school or equivalent experience preferred.
• Industrial experience in a similar setting preferred.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication; basic mechanical skills and precision measuring ability.
• Understanding of plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and steam systems; preventive and predictive maintenance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machine equipment and hand tools.
• Troubleshoot problems beyond basic component replacement.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment (cleaning, lubrication, bearings, gears).
• Work on hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electronic components.
• Comply with LOTO, confined spaces, and OSHA guidelines.
