Ellwood is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and hydraulic equipment, machine tools, forging and heat treat furnaces, presses, manipulators, and CNC components with minimal supervision. The role includes upgrading installations and performing preventive maintenance to improve uptime and equipment life.

The candidate will support manufacturing operations, read drawings and schematics, and work with CMMS/E-Maint and MS Office to document work and track parts.

Competenze

• Education and experience in forging facility maintenance.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• CNC machine repair experience is a plus.
• Welding/cutting/fabrication experience required for plant maintenance.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with safety regulations for industrial equipment.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot and repair presses, manipulators, machine tools with minimal supervision.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC repairs as required.
• Operate to maximize equipment uptime and set priorities.
• Maintain tools and diagnostic equipment; document work results.
• Update drawings and procure spare parts as needed.
• Follow PM tasks and installation line-ups.
• Document maintenance using CMMS/EMaint/MS Office.
• Prepare periodic inventory reports.
