Job summary

GAF Materials Corp. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our Charmian Plant in Blue Ridge Summit, PA. The position offers a competitive salary, full benefits from day one, and a 7% company match on a 401k.

The Maintenance Mechanic will work closely with Operations to minimize plant downtime, often working various shifts and overtime. Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least two years of maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Must pass the Ramsey Mechanical Aptitude Test with a minimum score of 70%.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on buildings and equipment.
• Assist in construction and repair work throughout the plant.
• Ensure safety standards are met in the work area.
