Job summary

J.M. Huber Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service industrial mechanical systems in our Rifle, CO plant. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and repair mechanical components to maximize uptime and safety.

The role requires reading blueprints, adhering to HSE policies, and collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams. On-call work, nights, weekends, and welding qualifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial mechanical systems in plant environments.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics for repair procedures.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems.
• Familiar with 480V plant environments and safety standards.
• Welding experience or ability to obtain certifications.
• Strong attention to detail and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to restore uptime.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine repair methods.
• Install, align, and maintain power transmission components and assemblies.
• Rebuild or replace mechanical components such as bearings and gearboxes.
• Maintain maintenance records and parts usage; support inventory control.
• Collaborate with engineering and vendors to improve performance.
• Provide on-call support including nights and weekends as required.
• Complete welding qualifications as applicable.
