Job summary

Randstad USA in Canton, Georgia is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to maintain massive aluminum extrusion presses and material handling systems. You will troubleshoot, dismantle, repair, and overhaul complex machine tools and heavy equipment with a focus on reliability and safety.

The role requires 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience, with strong hydraulic/pneumatic skills, welding, and fabrication abilities.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
• High School education required.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is required.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Systems Diagnosis & Overhaul: Troubleshoot, install, and overhaul complex machine tools and heavy equipment with minimal supervision.
• Mechanical Repair: Dismantle malfunctioning machinery and replace worn components.
• Precision Fluid Power Maintenance: Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems including valves and pumps.
• Preventive Maintenance: Execute PM schedules to minimize downtime.
• Fabrication & Welding: Weld, torch cut, and fabricate metal for repairs and upgrades.
• Facilities Support: Maintain cooling towers and compressed air systems.
