Job summary

Vienna Beef is seeking a skilled industrial maintenance technician for a 2nd shift position in Chicago. You will troubleshoot and repair plant equipment, assist with packaging machinery, and work with various automation and mechanical systems. Experience with CMMS Mpulse and welding is preferred, and Spanish/English bilinguals are a plus.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical capabilities, good communication, and willingness to work Saturdays. Toolbox and basic hand tools are required.

Qualifications

Must have 1 year of industrial maintenance education preferred or equivalent experience.
Experience: 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent.
Knowledge of PLC, Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic; preferred but not required.
Ability to log information and process daily work orders in CMMS.

Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting and repairs on plant and house equipment.
Operate on Linkers, stuffers, choppers, grinders, conveyors, packaging machines.
Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems as needed.
Support production by responding to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Follow safety policies and company standards.
