Job summary

PurposeBuilt Brands is seeking a skilled Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd shift team in the Manchester, TN area. The role involves hands-on maintenance of production equipment, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, to keep our operations running smoothly.

You should have at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience (electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, etc.). Packaging or bottling machinery experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with production equipment such as filling machines, pumps, mixers, compressors, labeling equipment and sleeving equipment.
• Experience developing and administering preventive maintenance programs and records.
• Knowledge of GMP and production standards.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance in preventative and emergency environments.
• Operate, troubleshoot, test, and maintain production equipment.
• Develop, implement and manage preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain PM documentation and records per GMP and company standards.
• Maintain equipment documentation, parts libraries, and maintenance records.
• Manage maintenance tools, spare parts inventories, and related materials.
• Evaluate maintenance needs and advise on equipment, parts, and costs.

Essential duties/responsibilities:

• Experience performing general maintenance activities in both preventative and emergency maintenance environments.
• Hands-on experience operating, troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining production equipment, including filling equipment, pumps, mixers, compressors, labeling equipment, and sleeving equipment.
• Experience assisting with the development, implementation, and administration of preventative maintenance (PM) programs and schedules.
• Experience maintaining PM documentation, checklists, and records in compliance with production requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company standards.
• Familiarity with developing and maintaining equipment documentation, including parts libraries, operating manuals, and maintenance records.
• Experience managing maintenance tools, spare parts inventories, and equipment-related materials.
• Ability to evaluate maintenance needs and provide recommendations for equipment, replacement parts, and project-related costs.
• Experience operating industrial equipment, including forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Proficiency in the safe operation and use of power tools such as drills, saws, grinders, and similar maintenance equipment.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and procedures related to the operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs in support of plant operations.
