Job summary

International Wire Group, a Pantheon Electric company, is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for Rome, NY, on 2nd and 3rd shift. You will repair and maintain industrial machinery, support preventive maintenance, and minimize downtime.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, reading schematics, and strong safety practices; associate degree preferred, three years of experience, and readiness for weekend calls.

Qualifications

• At least three years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Associate degree preferred; related hands-on experience may substitute.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, blueprints and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical malfunctions and determine corrective actions.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery and equipment.
• Overhaul gearboxes and bearings; replace worn components.
• Complete electrical repairs and troubleshooting within training level.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Complete work orders accurately and safely within timelines.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
