Job summary

International Wire Group, a Pantheon Electric company, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for Camden, New York. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery, support preventive maintenance, and respond to equipment issues with urgency to maximize production uptime.

The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, is safety-focused, and can read schematics and manuals.

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical technology, electrical technology, or related field is preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment and industrial machinery.
• Experience completing electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer documentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical malfunctions and determine corrective action.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery.
• Overhaul gearboxes and replace bearings, bushings, and other mechanical components.
• Complete electrical repairs and troubleshooting within your level of training and experience.
• Support the development and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Complete assigned maintenance work accurately, safely, and within established timelines.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns with a focus on minimizing downtime and restoring production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
