Job summary

Fidelis Logistics is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our industrial equipment running smoothly and safely in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of hands-on maintenance experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with CMMS like Megamation. Opportunities exist for career growth, full benefits, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hands-on maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is key.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Familiarity with CMMS software such as Megamation is a plus.
• Attention to safety and following procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and adjust machine components to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical (24VDC, 480VAC), pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, and resolve breakdowns quickly.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments; dismantle machinery when needed.
• Operate metalworking tools (drill presses, grinders) and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment; MIG/Arc welding is a plus.
• Assist in setting up new machinery and improve existing equipment for efficiency and safety.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
• Document maintenance activities and repairs in the CMMS (Megamation) for accurate records.
• Collaborate with operations staff and other mechanics to troubleshoot problems and coordinate repairs.

What We're Looking For:

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic (preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude, with proven ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is key.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Megamation or other C omputerized Maintenance Management Software is a plus.
• You're meticulous about inspecting, repairing, and upgrading machinery.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to urgent maintenance issues.
