Job summary

Fidelis Logistics in Baltimore seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead our facility's maintenance operations and develop a proactive maintenance program. You will supervise up to six Technicians, implement PM schedules via CMMS, and ensure equipment longevity while supporting production goals.

Ideal candidates bring 5-7 years in industrial maintenance with supervisory experience, expertise in PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and welding, and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training preferred.
• 5-7 years in industrial maintenance, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong background in PLC programming and troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and welding.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and develop a maintenance team; effective communication with management, production teams, and vendors.
• Skilled in scheduling and tracking maintenance activities, inventory, and budgets.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to a safety-first environment.
• Willingness to adjust work hours (evenings/weekends/on-call) to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor up to six Maintenance Technicians, guiding troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive PM schedule using CMMS, minimizing downtime.
• Monitor and maintain machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs; perform MIG/ARC welding as needed.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure issues to keep operations running.
• Maintain cost-effective inventory levels, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, monitor spending.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and safety-first culture; conduct regular audits.
• Collaborate with Plant Manager and production teams to align maintenance plans with goals.
• Lead initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and adopt new technologies.
• Maintain accurate records in CMMS and report progress to stakeholders.
