Job summary

MAC Incorporated in Sacramento, CA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, including motors, conveyors, and PLC systems. Strong electrical/mechanical skills and a focus on reliability will support ongoing plant performance.

The role requires a 1st shift (5:00 AM–1:30 PM) with occasional Saturday work and a hourly pay range of $34–$44. PTO accrues with each pay period.

Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance technician in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (EPA and OSHA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety processes and procedures, EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyors, PLC, and related systems.
• Tracks repairs in Manager Plus, identifies recurring themes and recommends improvements.
• Performs daily visual inspections of building, grounds, equipment and processes.
• Collaborates with plant supervisors to increase reliability and uptime.
• Coordinates with operations on repair schedules and potential production delays.
• Fabricates parts as needed for repairs.
• Follows Total Preventative Maintenance guidelines.

Position Role Summary

The role of maintenance technician is to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment following all processes and procedures, communicating potential and immediate issues to the maintenance manager. This individual also maintains records of repairs through Manager Plus, analyzes trends and makes recommendations to increase machine reliability and uptime.
