• Knowledge of installing, servicing, and repairing production equipment and PLCs.
• Ability to read schematics and diagrams; electrical and welding skills.
• Strong safety habits and a hands-on mindset.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (relocation not offered).

Responsibilities

• Inspect boilers, HVAC, air compressors, and refrigeration systems before start‑up and shut‑down.
• Disassemble, assemble, clean, and lubricate production lines daily.
• Set dies on production lines to spec during daily start-up.
• Watch gauges and instruments to keep machines within processing standards.
• Set up and adjust equipment and conveyors to product specifications and test the setup.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including silo sifters monthly.
• Check equipment for repair or replacement and keep records of repairs and maintenance.
• Order parts, manage maintenance inventory, and keep reports up to date.
• Recommend improvements to engineering and leadership.
• Follow GMP, confined space procedures, and OSHA, USDA, and HACCP rules.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

New City, NY | In-Person | $30 - $34 /hr | Full-Time

A well established and growing high-speed frozen food manufacturer with a team that cares about their people is hiring a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. You will keep production equipment running safely and at peak performance, using manuals, diagrams, and manufacturer specs, and have a real voice in making the plant better.

What You’ll Do:

• Inspect boilers, HVAC, air compressors, and refrigeration systems before start-up and shut-down
