Job summary

Kellanova is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support the Accelerator division at the Blue Anchor, NJ site. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, and help keep production running safely and with minimal downtime.

Starting rate is $30.34 per hour, with NJ Refrigeration/Boiler licenses paid add-ons. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement across a fast-paced manufacturing

Whatyou’ll do

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic supports the Blue Anchor, NJ Maintenance Team for the Accelerator business—the division supporting KIND, Tru Fru, Nature's Bakery, and the newly acquired Kellanova brands. The role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment, supporting equipment reliability, and ensuring manufacturing operations run safely and efficiently with minimal downtime. As the Accelerator division continues to evolve, this role will support operational excellence by maintaining critical production equipment, responding to equipment performance issues, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the facility.

We currently have openings on our day and night shift teams with a starting rate of $30.34. New Jersey State Refrigeration/Boiler Licenses will be paid an additional per hour as follows: Black/Blue $1.50; Black/Blue/Red $3.00; Black/Blue/Red/Gold $4.50. New hires have one year from their hire date to obtain license from the State of NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Conducting Preventative Maintenance – Perform basic troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment – your excellence will be the key to keeping production moving smoothly.
• Ensuring Performance Efficiency – Manage machine performance by doing equipment set-up and change-overs. You’ll facilitate production and quickly respond to equipment breakdowns.
• Following Best Practices – Understand, follow and enforce all established guidelines. Your attention to detail will ensure compliance with all safety, health, quality and company policies, procedures and recognized practices.You’ll help us keep delivering success, one waffle at a time.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• High school diploma or GED.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs and complete repetitive tasks throughout the day.
• Experience with troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipmentin a manufacturing setting.
