Job summary

Kellanova is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician for the Wyoming Bakery night shift on-site (12-hour shifts, 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM) with a two-week rotating schedule. The starting hourly pay rate is $42.53, and we’re offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

You’ll collaborate with Operations, Food Safety, and EH&S to keep production machinery running smoothly and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge equipment in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• State/Local Electrical License OR Journey Card at time of hire.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• PLC experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and perform PM and repairs on PLC-controlled systems.
• Analyze faults, perform root-cause analysis and repair electrical/mechanical systems.
• Improve plant efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities; communicate with maintenance team.

What you’ll do

Are you passionate about high-speed food processing and eager to make impactful improvements? Join our Wyoming Bakery team as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician on our night shift This is an on-site role with a two-week rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts (5:45 PM – 6:00 AM). Training will begin on first shift for the initial 60–90 days.

The starting hourly pay rate for this position is $42.53, and we’re offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team that includes Operations, Food Safety, and Environmental Health and Safety professionals, all working together to keep our production machinery running smoothly. This role offers hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge equipment and the opportunity to grow your skills in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintaining Equipment & Amplifying PLC Knowledge–Alternate between troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and on‑the‑spot machine repair, focusing on programmable logic controllers.
• Analyzing Conditions & Providing Solutions–Identify and examine equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and repair electrical and mechanical systems using PLC programming.
• Prioritizing Innovation & Communication–Seek ways to improve plant efficiency, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and maintain open communication with the Maintenance Supervisor and Mechanics.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• High School diploma or GED
• State/Local Electrical License OR Journey Card (or will have either at time of hire)
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated knowledge of behavior-based safety systems
• Sitting, standing, walking, lifting and / or repetitive tasks throughout the day. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
• PLC experience
