Job summary

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, adjust, modify, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment and facilities.
• Follow all plant and safety rules including PPE requirements.
• Inspect, dismantle, repair, replace, install, clean and assemble equipment as needed.
• Communicate information to maintenance supervision and engineering to assist in analysis or modifications.
• Perform pipe installations and repairs in various pipelines.
• Interpret blueprints for equipment information and installation.
• Maintain backup spares with supervision for all mechanical equipment.
• Utilize torches, welders and burning equipment.
• Maintain daily shift inspection and repair logs for review by supervision.

Maintenance MechanicPrimary Responsibilities

• Responsible for installing, repairing, adjusting, modifying, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on all types of plant equipment and facility.
• Responsible for following all plant and safety rules including all safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Inspect, dismantle, repair, replace, install, clean and assemble as necessary to maintain equipment/buildings as necessary.
• Able to communicate information to maintenance supervision and engineering to assist in analyzing equipment or for the purpose of making equipment modifications.
• Perform pipe installations and repairs in various pipelines.
• Interpret blue prints for equipment information and installation.
• Works with maintenance supervisor to insure a sufficient level of back up spares for all mechanical equipment.
• Utilize torches, welders and burning equipment.
• Maintains daily shift inspection and repair logs for review by supervision, and other plant personnel.
• Minimal travel requirements as needed for training, etc., as determined by Supervision.
• Any and all other responsibilities as assigned by Supervision

Maintenance MechanicExperience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Environment, in the Maintenance department
