Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician in the Firebaugh area, Fresno County. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality, safety, and efficiency of our facilities. This role requires understanding of mechanical systems, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving processes related to mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems throughout the facility.
• Perform shutdowns, start-ups, and cleaning of equipment.
• Perform preventative building maintenance duties and repairs, including routine plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Oversee facilities maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Work in a team and assist other maintenance technicians with tasks/projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications and Skills

• 2-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance and repair for conveyors, bin dumps, roasters, sorters, etc.
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual candidates are a plus.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools, with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
