Work Shift:

8hr-2nd Shift (United States of America)

This is an entry-level position. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will shadow the Industrial Maintenance Technician I and II roles to learn how to perform repairs, preventative, and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment, and facilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Receiving instructions on specific job tasks from Industrial Maintenance Technician I & II, Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician, or Supervisor. Assistance is provided for unusual problems, and work is reviewed for sound judgment.
• Performing duties that may vary by plant based on equipment and plant design.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer experience.

Education:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• May require a current OSHA forklift certification.

Training:

• Completion of Altium Industrial Maintenance Technician I training.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands include standing, walking, using hands, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.

Work Environment:

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise levels, fluctuating temperatures, and the requirement to wear PPE in production areas.
