Fidelis Logistics in Pico Rivera, CA seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to keep heavy equipment and production lines running smoothly in a fast-paced setting.

You will inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, document actions in Megamation CMMS, and collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years hands-on maintenance mechanic experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems; HS diploma.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and adjust machine components for efficiency.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical (24VDC, 480VAC), pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and resolve breakdowns quickly.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand/power tools and access problem areas as needed.
• Operate metalworking tools and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment; MIG/Arc welding a plus.
• Assist in setting up new machinery and improve equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Document maintenance activities in Megamation CMMS and keep records up to date.
• Collaborate with operations staff to coordinate repairs and minimize downtime.

What We're Looking For:

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic (preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude, with proven ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is key.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Megamation or other Computerized Maintenance Management Software is a plus.
• You're meticulous about inspecting, repairing, and upgrading machinery.
• Commitment to following safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to urgent maintenance issues.

What You'll Do:

• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and adjust machine components to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical (24VDC, 480VAC), pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, quickly resolving breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments; dismantle machinery to access problem areas when needed.
• Operate metalworking tools (e.g., drill presses, grinders) and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment. MIG/Arc welding experience is a plus.
• Assist in setting up new machinery and enhance existing equipment to boost efficiency and safety.
• Strictly adhere to OSH A regulations and safety protocols, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.
• Document all maintenance activities and repairs in our CMMS (e.g., Megamation), ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Collaborate with operations staff and other mechanics to troubleshoot complex problems and coordinate repairs, minimizing disruptions to production.
