Job summary

Mach10 Solutions is seeking a reliable Maintenance Machinist to perform hands-on maintenance, inspection, and repair of production machinery at our Illinois facility. The role involves working with roll-forming lines, presses, feeders, conveyors, and related equipment to keep operations efficient and safe.

The ideal candidate has solid mechanical experience, with background in automotive repair, fabrication, or equipment servicing.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine desire to master industrial machinery.
• Demonstrate the ability to operate standard power and hand tools safely.
• Maintain a foundational knowledge of mechanical systems to assist in effective troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve issues with roll-forming lines, presses, feeders, conveyors, and material handling gear to keep production moving smoothly.
• Execute mechanical repairs on shafts, bearings, gearboxes, motors, and chains.
• Provide support for pneumatic, hydraulic, and fundamental electrical maintenance tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, and preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.
• Utilize various power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
• Collaborate on installation, fabrication, and modification of production equipment to improve output.
• Minimize downtime by responding quickly to equipment failures and working with operators to restore safe functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of parts used and repairs performed.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and lockout/tagout requirements.
