Job summary

Fidelis Logistics in Baltimore, MD is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead our facility's maintenance operations and keep all equipment and infrastructure running efficiently. You will supervise up to six technicians, implement preventive maintenance programs, and partner with production to meet goals.

You'll drive uptime through CMMS-based scheduling, oversee PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and safety compliance, and foster a culture of reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in industrial maintenance with 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong background in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and welding.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a maintenance team.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, and budget management.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA regulations.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends/on-call.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor up to six Maintenance Technicians.
• Develop and manage a preventive maintenance schedule using CMMS.
• Monitor and maintain machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure issues.
• Maintain cost-effective inventory, manage vendor relationships, and monitor spending.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and foster a safety-first culture.
• Collaborate with Plant Manager and production teams to align plans.
• Lead initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and adopt new technologies.
• Maintain accurate CMMS records and report progress.
