Job summary

Dee Zee, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to perform skilled to semi-skilled tasks in building maintenance, repair, and production equipment upkeep.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs to ensure continuous production and compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, ability to read manuals, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment, including forklifts and lifts, while maintaining a safe,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; craft apprenticeship preferred.
• At least 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• HVAC and/or Electrical certificates or licenses would be advantageous; valid driver’s license and forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities.
• Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment per 6S procedures.
• Stop production line if nonconforming to protect customers.
